Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery or 3D brows, is a relatively new manual method for enhancing eyebrows. It is considered to be permanent makeup, as compared to the traditional hair stroke technique done by machine. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigment into the epidermis. Because the color is closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no spilling under the skin.

The difference with this and ordinary permanent makeup is that microblading is not done by a machine. The pigment is manually placed into the skin. The microblading manual pen is equipped with sterile packaged blades. The blade glides with gentle pressure over the skin and causes fine cuts, as fine as a paper cut, leaving a trace that can hardly be distinguished from real hair. Depending on the drawing technique – of which we are experts – it creates an individual look perfect for your face and the style you are trying to achieve. Above all 3D, or HD, eyebrows absolutely do not appear as a tattoo.

Microblading is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of the hair you currently have.

People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows.

Dee’s philosophy of brow shaping is simple – fuller is better, and her main goal is to naturally restore your brows.

During your first visit, she will offer you a professional analysis of how she thinks your brows can look their best, and explain why. Dee shows you where your actual brow should grow out and which areas to leave alone, along with an estimation of brow sessions to get to your dream brow. If necessary, she makes a detailed plan for your grow-out and walks you through your at-home care.

Otherwise, the brow expert shapes and gives you a short lesson on how to fill your brows in for daily maintenance with correct brow makeup color matching. Generally, she may also tint the brows to help them look fuller & darker if your brows are grown and ready to be enhanced.

If you are growing out, by the second session it becomes quite clear how lovely your brows are going to be and you’re well on your way to having luscious Browista brows!

They are individual extensions made of a synthetic material to look like perfect natural eyelashes; thicker at the base and thinner at the tip with a slight curl. They come in many different colors; the most popular is Solid Black. They are adhered one by one to a natural lash with a medical-grade bonding adhesive giving the appearance of a darker, more voluptuous lash-line.

An average eyelid has approximately 100 natural hairs which shed at an average rate of 20-30% every 2 weeks. Therefore, when the natural hair sheds, so does the extension that was attached to it. Since new hairs are always growing in, refills can be performed to attach extensions to the new growth keeping the lashes looking full continuously or for as long as you wish to maintain them.
